A Handful Of Audiosurf Addons 1.5.9

13/June/2009, Saturday

So I basically made this program for those Audiosurfers that want the addons but don’t have time/are lazy to search them, it’s also like an addon database

When you start the program, that screen is shown asking you to select an addon, and then when you select one from the list, a brief description of what the addon does is shown and the “Run!” button is enabled (or changed by an “Open folders” one, depending on the selected addon).

Once you press the “Run!” button, AHOAA will add an icon in the notification area which you can click to launch more addons, show AHOAA’s main screen, run Audiosurf or exit AHOAA.

To change AHOAA’s options, just click the Options button.

If by any means someone wants me to remove his program from the list, just tell me and I’ll do it. Also, if I forgot any addon, tell me and I’ll add it.

Audiosurf Score Browser 1.0

13/June/2009, Saturday

It’s ugly, big and simple… But it works

I think I don’t have to say much about this addon… Just write an Artist, a Title, hit the “Search!” button and you have the three scoreboards… I’ll add it to AHOAA soon…

Anyway, enjoy…

Oh, and you shouldn’t use it with a resolution lower than 1024×768…

Yet Another Audiosurf Player 1.3

12/June/2009, Friday

Ok, so… Maybe I’m a little late for this, with all the new tags and such, WM_COPYDATA commands are a little left over…

But anyway, I just learned how to send WM_COPYDATA commands to Audiosurf with VB so I made YAAP!

Preview:

Features:
· Can be launched anyway, launch AS first or YAAP, it’s your choice!
· Can be minimized to tray to leave AS playing without interference
· All the WM_COPYDATA commands were included
· What every other Audiosurf player has.

Minimum requeriments:
· Windows XP
· .NET Framework 2.0

Recommended requeriments:
· Windows Vista (just because you don’t need the .NET Framework then)

Changelog:
1.0
Initial release

1.1
Added lines to the playlist to organize it more
Added function to open a saved playlist

1.2
Corrected “Lines instead of blocks” button text
Fixed a bug that made YAAP impossible to minimize to tray
Fixed a bug that made Audiosurf impossible to restore the normal window state when Always on top or AOT, no border was used

1.3
Remade the whole interface
Added function to save your playlist with your own name, leave the textbox blank and it will save it with the default name (“playlist”)
Updated the ID3Lib.dll

Special thanks to e_- without the code of his player I would’ve never learned how to send commands.

Audiosurf Daily Challenge 1.4.4

12/June/2009, Friday

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

Since the ‘closing down’ of the IRC Challenge bot, I felt the owner should continue with free and legal music. Unfortunately, he’s unable to continue, but that’s why I have created a new daily challenge program.

Every time you start it, the program looks up the online database I host myself and gives you the option to download the current song. After downloading you will be given the opportunity to press a single button that will start Audiosurf, and load up the current song.

I’ve been doing this in Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition in my spare time, and the source will be included every new version plus a strings.txt file with the strings you’ll need to translate if you want me to add a new translation.

Feel free to comment/post ideas, I’ll post any progress here.

Side notes:

The music I will use will be 100% LEGAL, no copyright problems at all…
The news and song will be updated everyday at 00:00 (GMT-03:00) except weekends as I’m not in my home and don’t have my PC to add new ones.

Audiosurf Code Generator 1.2

12/June/2009, Friday

Tired of having to remember every tag for every special mode that you want to use with Audiosurf on your songs?

Tired of having to write long tags such as “[as-everybodymono]” everytime you want to use a special mode?

Well, then Audiosurf Code Generator is the solution for you! Just write (or paste) the title of the song you want to tag, check the desired modes, copy the tagged title, modify the ID3 (yes, you still have to manually edit that) and you’re ready to go!
